BetaList takes your URL at the start and runs automated checks on your site. Max 5 screenshots. Allowed to add multiple "Makers" for the listing. You can add a video, link to a beta for iOS apps, and promos to the listing. You can opt in to "Joining an accelerator," "Get funded," and "Exclusive deals for early-stage startups."

We have not audited a listing there yet, so this page says nothing about its link policy. It fills in as listings are verified.

Its submission page.

BetaList lists early-stage startups: products with something to show and
nobody using it yet. What it asks for is recorded above, from the catalog
row, so this page can stick to what the form does not tell you.

Before you open the form

The submission flow puts you through an account first, which is worth
knowing before you set aside half an hour: the copy you will be asked for is
not visible until you are signed in. Bring your
submission pack so the answers are written before the
fields appear, rather than typed into a form at eleven at night.

What our crawler sees

Whether listings here link back, and whether they stay up, is on the
trailhead page for BetaList. Those numbers come from
real listings we watch rather than from anybody's claim, and they are blank
where we have not checked.

Something wrong here?

Every fact above is one somebody checked, which means somebody can have
checked it wrong, or the form can have changed since. Email
[email protected]
and it gets corrected.

Before you submit

Plan the placement in your log first, so the tagged link exists before you
have anywhere to paste it. A placement posted with your plain URL reports
nothing, and the only fix afterwards is editing the listing, which is not
always possible. Paste the listing URL back when it is live, and the crawler
takes the watch from there.

Prepare this submission

Your pack, measured against what betalist.com asks for, with the fields that will not fit flagged. Plan it in your log first and the tagged link is ready before the listing goes up.

We never submit anything for you.
